    Default Nullarbor Cup III.

This will be held in February at the VIC champs.

The East have appointed LeftyHoges as the Captain of the Easties.

The West, we understand, have 3 people making the trip. More is always welcome and any number will be accommodated with Nully Cup matches ..... so if you always wanted to play Nully Cup, and you think you maybe should have been in the team .... and you think you could do better that Hocko ... or Johnny Colossus ... or Nuffie .... then get your name into the Vic Champs.

I wish I could get there. WAnkers are no doubt breathing a sigh of relief that I can't.

I would not be surprised if Canuck turns up and thinks it is his best chance to earn his first singles point. He'll be wrong though.
    Forum needs more banter.

Lefty has already proven he can't hang.

I pronounce myself Captain of the Westies, bringing the cup home!
Why exactly do I need to answer to you?

Shadesy, with a perfect record in the Nully Cup will be captain. He won the vote unopposed.

I vote for dual captains, Shadesy and Simmsy. They're going to have to notch up a couple of wins for us to bring the cup back to WAnkerville. Apart from having a win over Greg Chalmers in pennants many years ago my match play record isn't too flash.

Pffft, beating Greg Chalmers, eh? Shadesy beat dc68, the perennial favourite!!!

We won't speak about simmsy's MP record (although it got slightly better over the weekend)

Yeah I know that while Chalmers has won the Australian Amateur and 2 Australian Opens he isn't the fav in every event like dc68.

    Hey!
I beat a guy that hit every fwy had to give him 10 shots and finished fourth in the Champs.

With only 3 players from WA, wouldn't that be a case if too many Chiefs...?

    I think so.

As long as Canuck doesn't put his hand up as the non playing captain, we should be right.

Nah I've read all the GSM Cup threads. Not possible to have too many WA chiefs is it?

You don't need a captain to tell you to win.

    That's Hicksville thinking.

You need to look outside your own backyard, and pick an Easterner.

I can do for WA golf, what Robbie Deans did for the Wallabies and Mickey Arthur did for Australian cricket.
You don't get me. I'm part of the Union.

After Sundays round your location is kinda apt GK! Automatic one putt when you get out though.

In all seriousness, would be great to have you along.
