Does anyone have a make shift indoor green they putt on ?

I might just take a gamble and try the bunnings synthetic turf they sell as "suitable for putting green". All the other options are either too short or over priced, or both.

I have hard wood floors and plenty of space, looking at something around 10-12 feet. Then I'll shave and taper some foam pieces to slide in under the edge to give me some breaking putts.

Anyone tried or have anything similar ?

Essentially a mini golf course. My facility here has an indoor mini golf course which has two surfaces; concrete and wood. The concrete surfaces are all formed to have the slope built in with the turf glued straight on top, the wooden surfaces have fibreglass humps and mounds to create the slopes.

    Cement Base:

I would be looking at something a bit more dense than foam to put under your turf as I doubt it would hold up over time.

Meh. I was never 100% happy with the install, as some of the contouring did not reflect what a green is like, and I never did anything about it. Now I don't play golf, but at least there is less lawn to mow.

    Hi Nemo

How is yours going? seems we are having similar issues as AndyP? Too hard and fast now and very inconsitent roll, on top of too much slope when installed.

Interested in getting it repaired or replaced, hear southwest greens are good but cant get in contact with the guy!

Southwest is good, but David is hard to get in contact with.

Our green is still rolling good after 14months...

Depending on the mix of green to fringe prices vary in the $150-$220 range per sqm

We have about 50 sqm green and 30sqm of fringe and bunker

    Hi Peter

What is the makeup of the southwest green, do they use crushed glass like supreme greens?

The infill is a mix of green, black and white sand.

The is a 10mm rubber underlay under the green

There is a nasty dog over the back fence, so I don't want to risk losing any of my Precept U-tri Tours.

Are you associated with Turfgreen? Or recommending them? Their stuff looks great.
