Here's another one Redford made after Sundance; Three Days of the Condor - still one of the best spy thrillers out there.

Really not as good as the last few. It's not bad as such but really 1 dimensional. Feels like it is setting the scene for future movies, but in doing so isn't a great story itself

I liked Spectre. Great opening sequence [trendy nowadays though]. I like Bond better when played as smug like Craig did it this time.

Bonds always had the show stopping start. Part of their signature. Seems to be what I hear about it, either love or hate it. Haven't been myself.

I really enjoyed the previous Daniel Craig Bond films, but this one left me flat. I don't want to go into detail so I'm not giving out any spoilers, but there seemed to be numerous things chucked in for no reason other than for the writers to be smug and say look how we linked it into the old bond films. That and how every character other than Bond just does what he asks and doesn't ever question anything. Plus there were the Austin Powers-esque sequences with the Christophe Waltz character

That's my boy - Sandler is really pathetic as an actor. Worst movie ever.

You can't bad mouth the man behind Happy Gilmore on a golf site, can you?

That's disappointing, think we're going to see it soon. Reviews I've read thought it was good, but not as good as Skyfall/Casino Royale.

It wasn't a criticism of Bond movies, just seems like a he was being overly critical.

Reference to a Bond villain with a razor hat mate, Google will be your friend.

Golf is, in part, a game; but only in part. It is also in part a religion, a fever, a vice, a mirage, a frenzy, a fear, an abscess, a joy, a thrill, a pest, a disease, an uplift, a brooding, a melancholy, a dream of yesterday and a hope for tomorrow. - New York Tribune, 1916.
