I have grabbed a few on Netflix lately that looked great in the synopsis, but gee, they are not even B grade. There was some WW2 movie about Lancasters and a mission to destroy V1/V2 rockets, and whilst they had some historically correct situations like introducing Von Braun the rocket scientist as wanting to defect (well he did after the war) the movie didnt even include the actual described plot in the movie. It was the most disjointed and random movie I have even seen.

Dont get me wrong, many B grade movies are fantastic.

There aren't many movies I can't sit through. I can just about watch anything. Park the brain outside and just enjoy. But the last two movies we couldn't make it through were Once Upon A Time In Hollywood (1/3 through), and The Gentlemen (1/2 way). I'm sure I'll get shot for that, and we're big fans of multiple stars in both movies. Robyn had me turn off Bullet Train fairly early, but I'll watch it myself when I get some time.

I watched Mortal Kombat (2021 version) last night...expectations were low and it didn't even meet them.

OUATIH is a tough watch. I went with a couple of mates who thought it was the worst thing they had ever seen, but they were expecting Kill Bill or similar. I liked it, as I had read a review and had different expectations.

I have never considered watching it again though.

    Yes, you should be.

Once Upon A Time isn't fantastic but it's still very good, and The Gentlemen is exceptional.

This sums up my wife's thinking behind watching a particular movie.

The Gentlemen is just ok imo. Not to the level of Lock Stock or Snatch.

Question - Is The Power to the Dog worth persisting with? We had some tech issues when it stopped and haven't come back to it.

I watched The Gentleman and Knives Out within a few days of each other - thought both were brilliant. Very refreshing to see a movie told in a unusual and unique way.

Bullet Train - Man, that was about 2 hours too long and it was like a Year 12 version of a Guy Richie film.
Absolute nonsense on so many levels.. may the director be shot publicly.

    Prey didnt suck...
Top Gun 2 was damn fun and a trip down nostalgia lane
Nope - not bad at all
Thor - Awful but got better towards the end. But just a kids movie
Confess Fletch was a decent TV movie... but very dated.. which is a pity - Jon Ham is no Chevy Chase
The Nick Cage film was a bit of fun.

There is a movie with Liam in it.. called Cold Pursuit or something like that.. rather good.
Also a Nick Cage one based in south america. Kill Chain or something like that. also very very watchable .

Also can recommend 3 Endone and watching MANDY with Nick Cage. You will never be the same again.

Straight facts. I was humbly surprised by how much I wanted to hate both, and thoroughly enjoyed both despite that.
