During the week I benched my 21deg hybrid because it was about 180 and I needed 170 more often so went back to a 4 iron.

Put what I thought was my Nike Covert 4 iron in the bag

Straight away on sat I had need for a 4iron and hit a few low ones out of trees and thought geez this 4 iron feels good. Couple of par 5s and used it for my 2nd and just felt so good still thinking it was the Nike that I hadn't used for a while.

Anyway gets to the 14th par 3 165m into a 1club wind. Just let the 4iron rip and geez it felt good, was about 15ft short right on target.
Looked at the club and realised it was the Cleveland 588 TT.

Might have to invest in a set of these me thinks
I've just lost control of a bodily function laughing that it took you that long to work out the 4iron was different.

I am lucky it was a 4 iron plenty of times I've just grabbed a club out of the bag and hit it thinking it was whatever only to find I had put a different club in that spot. Definitely get binocular vision when I am playing golf

I guess I'm not surprised because I always knew they'd be good but had a couple of days out with my Srixon Z745 irons. Just got bog std specs and S300's in them and for now, I'm not changing a thing. I wouldn't mind if they went a little higher but so far, they feel great, they look great and they go really well. Oh and they fit in nicely with my 18, 20 and 23deg Z U45 driving irons too which are even better!

Odyssey Proto No.9 might be good enough to knock the Tracy II out of the bag.....

Can add Fourteen FH1000 irons, good enough to keep the TM MB TP's and Cobra ACP's out of the bag.

Callaway PM grind wedges. The 60 is pretty much cheating so I got the 56 as well. So ugly but so good at the same time.

pulled a Bassara 53 TS out of a spare bag the other day to have a look at the specs to put up on the Trade thread, had used it before but never got along with it, not sure why, probably the tool on the end of the shaft. Anyways, saw it had a cleveland adaptor on it so chucked it in the 588 Custom yesterday morning and after a coupe of sighters, this thing just went. Not low stingers but a nice penetrating flight, hint of a ghey fade which seems to be my stock shot now. Grass was real dewy but was putting them out to where my summer ball usually ran so bit excited, hope not just the honeymoon period.

Put the old jet speed with stock shaft in the bag the other day, I reckon it is easily 10-15 metres longer than the 913 with tp7hd.
    In the bag

    Taylormade Stealth 2 9.0 - AD DI 7X, Taylormade Sim 5 wood - AD DI 8X, P790 2/5-GW S300 AMT, Taylormade Hi Toe 53/14, 57/14, 60/10, Taylormade Spider, Taylormade 2018 staff bag

Indeed. For a club that is quite cheap, it is very low spin and forgiving.
