Default Charity Golf Day for Queensland Amputee Golf Association 11th October 2013

    Hi Guys

I am organising a charity golf day on Friday 11th October 2013 at Emerald Lakes 12pm shot gun followed by dinner. Cost is $120pp or $400 team of 4 entry fees are 100% tax deducible. Have a few celebs locked in, will have tv crews and radio there also all the papers. Have about 60 starters so far, would love to see some of you guys there.

If you want to play but not do dinner please let me know and we can work something out.

Also if you know anyone who might like to play or sponsor the event please let me know.

We are working on hole in one prizes on every par 3 heaps of other prizes and charity auction.

This is our only fund raiser we do and we really need players and sponsors as 2 of our major sponsors went bust and we need to raise funds to help fill the short fall of that.

If your business would like to do a hole in one prize all we ask is if your company can cover the insurance ( $1800.00 for $60,000.00 cash prize ).

    Thanks Guys.

Serious question : isn't it a bit of a cruel joke offering a motorcycle as a prize at an amputee golf day? Most QAGA members I've played with would physically struggle to use all the controls on a bike.

That being said, Harley's are best left in the garage, polished and shown off to mates while playing darts anyway.

Something with padded shoulders would be a good start. Maybe an extra sock.
