Mount Broughton Golf & Country Club is a naturally beautiful site and is reputedly one of the longest courses in Australia. From the championship tees the course has a rating of 76.

I read that the rough is penal and take lots of balls.

And most is OB so you just reload
Some 180-200 rough carries off tees as well

Rough is 2 foot tall and full of snakes. You WILL see a snake. You will lose a ball or two. Bonus points for hitting a train. ... Or Alan Jones helicopter as he flies in for breakfast at peppers.

It will be like playing at Milton tennis courts in the old days when the trains ran through there.

I've played mt Broughton 4 times and seen the rough A LOT and all yet to see a snake there
lost a bucket Load of balls though

Biggest snake I have seen was at highlands gc. Massive black snake in the pond on the 13th that took a duckling. Dont go looking for your ball if if gets wet!
