Alrighty, pending confirmation of one or 2 scores (the comp at Mt B was stroke due to it being medal, so everyone completed a separate stableford card and I'm going on word of mouth for one group), these are the groupings for tomorrow:

    1. Peppas (26), Nans (Sun play only), The Castaway (27), Anfieldred (29)
    2. virge666 (29), Jado75 (29), 7rabbits (30), liptout (29)
    3. matty (33), KristianJ (33), titleist (33), Dotty (30)
    4. stuartd147 (leading with 38 points), stealth2 (37), rqrox (35), TS (34)

NSW is only just getting back into the playing ozgolf days. For a while there they couldn't organise a 4. I think Matty has done an outstanding job sorting them out.

Just got home...I'll sort through the myriad of photos and some other domestic stuff and get the full results posted. Matty can post if/when he gets the chance...as the guy who did the vast majority of the work in putting this all together, he's more than welcome to let us know who went home with the title.

Needless to say it was a tops weekend and I can't wait to see how (or if) the second one tops it.

Great weekend, great organisation and great result, which was a shock to all (except for his marker).

Accommodation a short stagger from the RSL topped it off.

Stick me on top of the list for next year's attendees.

My brother was delayed coming back from America which prevented my attendance. I am glad it was a success.

Dotty, as you were the marker, why don't you give a run down on today's events before KJ puts up the scores. I won't have time to do a write up for a little while with manic ankle biters. Just got home after a detour to pick up the boys Xmas present, a PW50.

I had the pleasure of marking Matty's card, knowing that he had to pick up 5 points on the front runners, playing in the last group.
His birdy start was undone by an OOB then a one-pointer, to finish the front nine with 22 points.
News came through that Rqrox had 21 on the front and going point-for-point Stuatd147.

Matty continued the birdie-fest and thought that he had jagged third outright and the second Pure Performance bag fitting prize.

I figured his 21 point back nine gave him a 76 point aggregate and be enough to win the day. Matt was shocked, when he did the cards and finished two points ahead of Stuartd147. (The announcement of third, then second, added to the suspense, as everyone had thought Stu had done enough to keep his three fellow competitors at bay.)

Kudos to Matty's chipping so close (courtesy of an Anne Rollo lesson) and deadly putting (after a putter fitting and ordering a custom-made Lajosi.)

I wouldn't be surprised if Mittagong RSL experienced a spike in their beer, spirits and vodka/squash sales over this weekend. If only they were open beyond midnight...
