Nice work again Matty. How about that final grouping... what a super group!

But yeah all coming together nicely. Hot wind today to kill the long grass and lay it flat Then a nice sunny day predicted for Saturday (hopefully with no wind)

I am sure you guys have it under control, but nice work putting Tony in Group 1, he does like to get in there and help and I'll put my hand up to say has done a mighty fine job in the past at other events I have been to.

I also note there are 11 major prizes on offer (not including the novelty NTP's etc) with 17 of you playing both days that's pretty good odds to collect something!

    Looking forward to it.

    Cheers,
    Waz

I should be all good with my responsibility...will have some sort of mobile device (or a beer coaster or 2) to write down what I need.

I'll sort it out so Nans can slot in with whatever group Pep ends up in...

And unless there's a severe objection, I'll keep the final 2 groups as 3s.

Just golf the Pure Performance Golf Lab gift certificates sent through. They also chucked in a putter fitting using their whizz bang technology. See final prize list. It's at the point where if you don't pick up a prize or a trophy you'd have to be a bit unlucky.

    PRIZES (To be confirmed)
Prize pool donation amount per person. $30 per person paid in cash on Saturday morning.
    Trophy for 1st, 2nd, 3rd
    Perpetual trophy for Winner.
    2 x NTP trophies
2 x Drive and Pitch trophies
    2 x LD trophies
    NSW NAGA Trophy
    Knockout Putting Comp - Trophy
Signature Banners confirmed. KJ to provide details.
1 x Pure Performance Golf Lab Driver fitting and driver. Value $949
1 x Pure Performance Golf Lab full bag fitting. Value $349
1 x Pure Performance Golf Lab full bag fitting. Value $349
1 x Pure Performance Golf Putter Fitting. Value $149
1 x Putting Assessment donated by Sydney Putting Studio. Website-: http://fixmygolfswing.com.au/ Value-: $70
1 x Lajosi putter refurb with additional goodies thrown in. Website-: http://lajosiputters.com.au/ Value-: $80
1 x Coaching clinic with Anne Rollo. Website-: http://fixmygolfswing.com.au/ Clinic is for a four person (Ozgolf) group for a 1hr coaching clinic. Prize includes a 'Great Golf' on-course tips book and 'How to practice your putting at Home' DVD.
1 x $100 Drummond voucher. (Penrith Store Only)

All prizes will be laid out on the table. Winner takes his pick, then second his, and so on.

The winner of the Anne Rollo clinic for four people books in a time with Anne that suits them. They inform the first three participants not to win a prize of the date and time. Those three state whether they can make it or not. She is usually booked out so it'll take several weeks to get in giving the winner enough time to sort the four participants out. If someone can't make it I suggest the winner flick the next person down the list a PM. I have had a lesson with Anne. She is a great communicator and a multiple time winner on the ladies European tour. Knows her stuff big time. Choppa1 dropped three shots from 4 to 1 after seeing her. That's like going from 20 to 8.

Can I request someone to throw their hand up to be the photographer during the preso. Someone who will get a snap of each individual receiving a trophy, and more importantly, those receiving the prizes.

Aside from a seperate photo thread, which will be fun to look through, I want to send those photos to those who supplied prizes. Hopefully they will continue to support the champs next year.

The only catch is the photos would need to be up pretty quickly, say by Monday night. I'd like to get back to the suppliers pretty quickly.

So if you have a camera, don't mind dancing around in front of people getting a few snaps, and uploading the photos quickly, put your hand up. Any help would be appreciated.

Liptout, can I ask you to contact both sat and sun pro shops and have them give you the ntp and LD sign thing you stick in the ground when you arrive each day. You'll need 3 each day, 2 x NTP and 1 x LD. Can you speak with pro shop staff and work out what you think is the best par 3 on each nine and the best hole for the LD each day. You chose the holes. Thanks mate.

Just my opinion but at Mt B, best NTP holes are 4 and 10 (shortest holes). LD is good on 8th wide and flat... although can depend on direction of wind... don;t want a hole into the wind as long drive hole!!

Haven't played highlands so can't comment on that one...

I have some self made NTP/LD markers I'd be happy to bring for teh event if needed, noting that as there will be a comp on at Mt B they may have all their markers out on course already??

    Cheers,
    Waz

Was thinking of those holes too Waz. But the long drive we can decide in the morning depending on wind direction, cause 11 is a wide open beast that could work too if the wind is favourable.....

Re the homemade markers. If you could bring them that'd be great bud. That'll save hassling the shop for some if they are a bit reluctant too (which I've been to some courses that are!!)

No worries mate, will throw them in. Yep have had the same hassles, thus why we made our own.

And yeah agree with 11 if down wind (would mean 8 into wind so a better choice). 11 is deciving in that it doesn't look overly wide, but you get up there and there is plenty of room.
