150 putts in 3 days = 150 putts in 6 rounds (i.e. 3daysx 36 holes) = 25 putts per round, not evn taking into account the extra 2 holes at LF... What's wrong with that Dotty??

You did squeeze in as much golf as possible and play 36 each day didn't you??

I squeezed in as much beer as possible and found myself on the green in bad places.

    Basically, I played like Benno.

    Haha fair enough.

I wonder if there is a caveat on the putting assessment being undertaken sober or after a handful??

Dotty now in charge of putting comp. He has requested all brides/inducements to erroneously note missed putt measurements to be sent his way asap.

    I vote for stableford.

Qualifying for the putting comp. will be on the practice green, as you finish on day 1. (I'll also collect the cards and possibly help with ruling queries.)
    One putt from 2m, 4m and 6m.
Top four qualifiers will be determined on total putts sunk.
If tied, countback will be on lowest aggregate distance from hole. (If still tied for 4th place, a single 6m sudden-death putt-off will open day 2. Ties for other seeds, determined by coin toss.)
A $10 'bride' buys a second qualifying attempt (but you can only accept one qualifying spot).

Semi-finals will be on practice green before the start of day 2. (1 plays 4 and 2 plays 3)
Same distances, countback, etc. to determine the two finalists.
Final will be same distances, etc., with the overall winner getting the trophy and the bridesmaid catching the 'bride' bouquet.

Any objections? Keep them and bring them up immediately after I three putt from 3m.
You don't get me. I'm part of the Union.

I'd prefer stroke but in terms of fairness through the field it'll be stableford.
