That's almost as funny as Yoss's golf ball to the face.

Did he fall to floor? Could have cleaned the burger up at the same time.

He was apparently lying on the floor for a bit and then struggled his way into a chair.

Didn't his son cause that injury at home? I can remember him posting that his wife laughing about it, until he told her that she should kiss it better.

The stubborn grip caused a sliced hand, just before a GSM or other big Perth game.

He had a few injuries around GSM time.

He did punch himself in the nuts in the middle of the shop, that is a definite.

At the driving range 6 or so months ago on the grass and as usual it was a mine field. As I moved my ball position around I got closer to the front rope......yep, full swing, caught the rope n stopped dead, thought I had broken middle and 4th digit on the bottom hand, still can't close them properly and have even worked out how to hit the ball with the middle finger off the shaft, one positive, I certainly compressed the ball

After pushing a buggy up and down step hills all day through lush kikuyu my feet and ankles are so stiff and sore when I go to stand up after stating in the recliner. Feel like a new born foal.
Not sure why both shoulders are sore thou.
Got the Pain Pod going on both but can't get it cranked over 3 bars without hurting (goes to 10)

Played a quick 9 holes with Haysey last Friday. We'd found his tee shot, and I had started walking (20m away, through some trees at least 30 degrees left of his target line) up to my ball. Somehow he hits it low & miles left (I'm calling reverse shank). The ball hits the underside of my Clicgear handle and rebounds into me, narrowly missing the crown jewels.

Luckily the rebound off the cart took most of the sting out of it, and I was able to continue the round.

Real bad lower back if i work too hard on crushing the driver at the range. Was gonna pursue some long drive comps, but couldn't hit more than a few on the range due to lower back from the follow through.

    Default Golf injuries

Not sure how or why but the finger I severed the tendon on my left hand years ago is stiff, sore and doesn't want to bend at the knuckle well after today's game.

I tried a hero shot out of the rough off a steep uphill lie at Royal Portrush, and failed to take into account the hardness of the ground under what appears to be a lovely blanket of grass.
Didnt feel a thing until I hit the next shot, a 50m pitch and Yoweee, the muscle just under the elbow had been torn/inflamed. Could barely play after that.

Not the smartest thing to do on a golf holiday, it even hurt to putt. I got through another 8 rounds in about as many days with a diet of icepacks, icegels and one of those compression thingys.
Still gets a little twinge, but there was a residual benefit. Because I had to swing slower, and rely on tempo and try not to hit the ground, I ended up hitting the ball better and straighter. My 5 iron now only goes about 150m but hey!

Sounds like you strained the medial epicondyle, which is the tendon that attaches your lower forearm muscles to the base of your elbow. I had this so bad that I couldn't pick anything up with my right hand.

I'd had a pain in the area for a while but it flared up after hitting a root with a five iron. I wore a brace for about a year but found the best cure for me was simply to hold onto clubs with a lighter grip.

I am looking at pictures of that, the pain and bruise was about two inches below elbow, not at elbow itself.
From this photo i think its the flexor carpi radials that was damaged at the fatter part of it

Reckon I might have injured myself in a unique way today.

Was hitting hybrid from the rough, not far from the tree line. Reasonable amount of debris on the ground, was playing like a busted so didn't do any clearing around the ball.

Played my shot, then let out a shriek, followed by a few ****s. Made good contact but somehow had hit a small "acorn" type thing dropped by the trees. No idea how but it shot up vertically and caught me between my eyelid and eyebrow. Given the damage it must have been moving when it hit me, just lucky it missed my eye.
