    That's awesome.

    That's pretty cool.
Still not playing enough GolfLink | Slightly less terrible stats brought to you by Golfshot - F: 57%, GIR: 23%, UD: 14%, P: 34. Wow, improvement! | Nickent brand ho or tightarse? You be the judge!

    That’s tremendous mate. Great stuff.
Cinderella story, out of nowhere, former greenskeeper, now about to become a Masters champion..... It looks like a mirac.. It's in the hole! It's in the hole!

Congratulations on the Hole in One, Ferrins. May it not be the last.

Very sorry to hear that Chris. I went through the same thing a few years ago! I found it very challenging. In the end, I kept my Dad’s hole-in-one trophy. It was his greatest moment in his golfing life!

Good luck Chris and remember the special times.

It was the 1st ace played out the way you want it to.

A well struck iron that landed ,checked, released and then dropped

As I had hit last the three younger blokes playing with me(all lower markers) were walking in front of me as you do.

One of them called it early and then all were fully engaged and when it dropped they went nuts.

High fives all round and much rejoicing!

Got my first hole in one yesterday.

165m par 3 14th at Glenelg. I hit second - the guy who hit first had already hit it to about 4 feet. Wind (about a 1 club wind) was coming from the left, and I was hitting small draws with my irons, so I set up straight at the pin on the left hand side of the green. Good strike, wind held the draw off and the ball flew straight at the pin the hole time. Landed a few metres short, and because of a small ridge in the green we didn't see it drop, but knew it was close. When we got close to the green one of my playing partners (who I think thought it was a chance) ran up and confirmed my ball was in the hole.

Nice one BYU, welcome to the Ace Club.
    Was that in a Vardon?
I that the hole that's modeled on one of the holes at Saint Andrews or is it from some other top course?

Yeah, was the Vardon. Not sure about origin of the hole design.

Still waiting for my first hole in one but on Saturday, guy playing behind us in the comp had TWO holes in one during the round ... we saw him buzzing after his first on the 2nd hole then heard the crazy cheers later as they arrived on the 13th green to find it was in the hole too. No surprise he won the comp that day !

Apparently he'll be getting some press for it too ... odds are something like 60 million to 1 of that happening
