Hi all,
Has anyone used/dealt with these guys before?
Often, but online only. I have never had an issue dealing with them.
Great retailer, been to their store and bought online without any hassles.
Cheers, went in there for 1st time yesterday Seemed a great set-upThey were happy to beat any advertised price
Ordered some irons on eBay and attached custom spec sheet and they came spot on. That was a good 4-5 years ago though.
Anyone had a driver shaft fitting at Boyles?
Wouldn’t have thought they would have the tech to do it properly
They had 4 or 5 different shafts I tried today.
One clear standout- a Matrix something.
It's now in the M1
JPX 919 tours ordered
Finally excited about my golf again
Boyles is closest golf shop to where I live at the moment. I still go in there from time to time and they have some good deals but I'm still a little dirty on them for one experience I had.
When I first got into golf, I had NFI about equipment but I'd done a little research online and travelled down to Boyles with the idea of buying a new driver.
From the research I'd done I was looking to get a higher degree driver (12*) as I was slicing the ball and wanted less spin and i wanted a regular shaft as my swing speed was slow.
But because I had NFI I let them talk me into getting a 9.5* taylormade sldr c driver with a stiff shaft that I could never hit and later sold it on ebay for a fraction of the price.
So had they not treated me like the sucker I was at the time they probably could have gotten a whole lot more business out of me in the years since then.
