Yeah Hervey Bay is, it's looking mint, since we've been getting a few showers a week it's so green and lush, it couldn't be better plus the champs start in 2 weeks so its going to be awesome.

    Very cool, nice work!

I've got a flat black shaft sitting spare in the garage ATM. Had it for one if the select scotty sticks but it looked a little too 'murdered out'. Maybe I'll put it back on at some point.

I couldn't believe the difference it made at address, like benno said so much more focus on ball and alignment. It's a really cool product all you have to do to remove is make a cut and peel it off, I painted on garage floor and once I was done I just peeled it off and it was back to concrete, great stuff.

I'd love to do it to a set of irons too, but I reckon I don't have them game to turn up looking like a stealth bomber. It's a shame, because if there is one thing I hate in golf it is polished chrome.

I reckon I might try get in on the Tuesday comp in a fortnight at HB, I reckon that should be schmicked up nicely for the comps.

Go Tamiya paints rather than nail polish.

A few older raw Vokeys arrived for me today...I'll give paintfill some thought and chronicle what will most likely be a slow, painstaking progress.

First thing will be to take to them with some fine grade steel wool and vinegar to get the rust off, clean the grooves out a little, then go from there.

I doubt he is...I live nowhere near Mackay and have done business with BITS before, so he knows I'm not from his area.

Has anyone had a crack at making there own headcovers? I thought I'd give it a go this arvo as I finished work early . I bought a couple plush toy 'bombs' off the bay for $5 posted from china and they arrived yesterday, so today I unstitched the bottom and removed 75% of the stuffing. Placed inside a couple old headcovers I had, stitched up the bottom around the sock and they were done, there for my 3 and 5 wood, there the super mario bombs I got 1 black and 1 red and I was surprised that they looked pretty good especially with my black white red titleist bag, will probably end up going back to the titleist covers but a bit of fun for an hours work and you could do this with any plush toy you could find. Ill post pics tomorrow. Thanks

Just went down stairs and took a pic tell me what you think, I'm still thinking about what to get for the driver. The original reason I got the bombs was because I was going to make one for a 13* 3 deep so I thought the bomb was relevant but haven't got the 3 deep yet so this will do, never been a fan of novelty head covers but ill give them a try, at least they only cost $5.
