I thought this may be a good idea, seeing as there is a lot of interest in sports and horse betting. I am happy to run it.

Rules:

1. A once off payment of $100 secures you a share in the club. (payment to be made to titleist via whatever currency he takes)

2. A roster will be drawn up and posted so everyone knows in what order they will be betting.

3. We will be using a sporting bet account and everyone will have access to the login to see bets made, balance etc.

4. If you double the money that you have bet, then you can punt again the next week. i.e for a $100 outlay, minimum of $200 collect required to bet again.

5. Winnings to be distributed when everyone has punted, hopefully around QLD champs.

Ok, back on a PC and have updated the spreadsheet. It shows $1836, but there is $1865 in the account due to free bets and refunds. Not a big deal really.

After everyone has punted and QAGA and ozgolf have been paid, we are left with $90 for each punter. For those leaving, Titty will pay you.

Here is the list of who wants to leave. Anyone else that wants in, the share is $90, as it's too much of a pain the arse to get another $10 off everyone.

Ok after riding my luck on the sharkies I have added a multi bet on the AFL which I know SFA about.

$10 on Richmond + 26.5, GC + 56.5, Freo, Syd - 13.5 at $14.35.

I was tempted to have a little on Titleists MILs horse for a place, but it looks like those odds have come right in.

Not having a lot of luck with the multibets, except the tennis/baseball ones. The Dragons won 5-4, and all I am waiting on is Stosur to win. She wins we get those two bets ($5 @ 11.37 and 10 @ 1.75).

The rugby is still alive and one of the AFL ones as well. GWS got rolled by more than 85 so that one lost

This is the guff on line betting:

This is where one team is given a certain amount of points start and the other team must concede the same amount of points, known as the line. For example, if you back a team that has a line of -10.5 your team must win by 11 points or more. If you back the other team that has the line of +10.5 your bet will be successful if your team does not lose the match by any more than 10 points. However, some events exclude the half point from the start (called a "flat line"). In this case when the winning margin by the team conceding the start exactly equals the start all bets are refunded.

I'd guess that means that the ACT bet comes out of the multipliers?

Didn't realise the richmond game was Monday. Anyway, as long as the Suns can stay around the money all is good. richmond to play like they were at the start of the year. And Stosur to win.
