    Default Ozgolf punters club

I thought this may be a good idea, seeing as there is a lot of interest in sports and horse betting. I am happy to run it.

    Rules:

    1. A once off payment of $100 secures you a share in the club. (payment to be made to titleist via whatever currency he takes)

    2. A roster will be drawn up and posted so everyone knows in what order they will be betting.

    3. We will be using a sporting bet account and everyone will have access to the login to see bets made, balance etc.

    4. If you double the money that you have bet, then you can punt again the next week. i.e for a $100 outlay, minimum of $200 collect required to bet again.

    5. Winnings to be distributed when everyone has punted, hopefully around QLD champs.

    Punters so far :

    1. BITS (Paid)
    2. Courty (Paid)
    3. Ben Tullipan QAGA (Paid with $400 worth of vouchers)
    4. Titleist (Paid)
    5. PeteyD (Paid)
    6. Eag's (Paid)
    7. sundayHack (Paid)
    8. popper81 (Paid)
    9. PerryGroves (Paid)
    10. Minor_Threat (Paid)
    11. Haystacks (Paid)
    12. LeftyHoges (Paid)
    13. Lobsta (Paid)
    14. Xray (Paid)
    15. Daves (Paid)
    16. Waddzy (Paid)
    17. Brokar (Paid)
    18. Marto65 (Paid)
    19. Grunt (Paid)

    Betting order:

    Random Sequence Generator

    Here is your sequence:

    9 PerryGroves
    16 Waddzy
    3 Ben Tullipan
    1 BITS
    10 Minor_Threat
    5 PeteyD
    4 Titty
    12 LeftyHoges
    6 Eag's
    2 Courty
    11 Haystacks
    17 Brokar
    15 Daves
    7 SundayHack
    8 popper81
    14 Xray
    13 Lobsta
    18 Grunt
    19 Marto65

Spreadsheet to keep track of things is here https://docs.google.com/file/d/0BwR3...it?usp=sharing

    Free iOS app available here.

Ok, back on a PC and have updated the spreadsheet. It shows $1836, but there is $1865 in the account due to free bets and refunds. Not a big deal really.

After everyone has punted and QAGA and ozgolf have been paid, we are left with $90 for each punter. For those leaving, Titty will pay you.

Here is the list of who wants to leave. Anyone else that wants in, the share is $90, as it's too much of a pain the arse to get another $10 off everyone.

    Staying for Punter's Club MkII:

    Bits
    Titleist
    Daves
    Popper81
    Lobsta
    Brokar
    PerryGroves
    XRay
    Courty
    Eags
    LeftyHoges
    Grunt
    Waddzy
    SundayHack
    Haystacks
    Marto65
    PeteyD

    Leaving:

    Minor threat
    Ben tullipan

And I've got an account with them already, so we could get a referral bonus out of it too (pretty sure we both get it).

Edit: referrer gets a straight bonus, referee gets a 50% first bet match.
Lobby, happy for you to sort out and open another with isabet?
I have an empty Centrebet acc also but not sure how much they would match....

They only match your first bet up to $200 at centrebet. So for new accounts only.

Someone else would have to open the Iasbet account in their name because I've already got one, and you can only have one per person. I'll give a referral code. But I think they've got the best bonus deals. We could even farm a few referral bonuses for the club account if anyone in the club wanted to sign up for their own account.

Starting up a fresh account with one of the corporates is the way to go.
Getting participants to pay up front for the year is the best option, it would be a giant pain in the arse chasing people for money every week.

I have accounts with just about all corporates so I can't help with a new account.

As said, I have 2 empty accounts, Centrebet and Sportingbet
Happy to use either, I'll ring them and see if they will credit us with a bonus.
I'm playing golf today with Blu and Virge so won't be able to sort this out till tomorrow.

Ill be in for this , Happy to put the money up front makes it easier than paying weekly etc.. there wont be a ruling on how we are to bet each week right? Ide like to throw big money on a game and have a sneaky $10 on a multi paying big.. not that my bets generally pay off though

What about Betfair for "laying" bets. Don't think any of the others do it, do they?

My old man is in a punters club and they only bet half of the weekly money ie $20 x $10 = $200 the bet would be $100 with the rest staying in the bank so at the end of the year they have something to collect.

I get that bit but only betting half is like buying 6 games in powerball instead of 12 and calling the saving a "win" on Friday morning.

Betfair is fine as long as when placing your bet, it gets matched.
Or you could just use the Betfair tote.
