Pete's already been at play with Google Earth and has them measured for a blast over the dogleg..

By the way are handheld GPS's allowed. (pete wants to know) He could be a little off line and need yardage ...

The 12th on the river course is possible but not probable.

The 14th on the west course is not possible due to trees.

The holes people are more likely to drive are the
    River, 2nd, 5th and 11th.
    West, 7th.

IMHO the only hole worth attempting is the 11th. 5th tends to play into prevailing breeze.

Yes, as long as he provides all the other ozgolfers with one at his cost.

i'd say it's impossible. Those trees on the left were quite high last year .. i doubt you could fly it over them and still hold the green

Jarro, its definitely possible. Saw a Pro try and he got the distance perfect but alignment wrong. Thats the hardest part as there is no way you can work out where to aim.

Plus the chances of killing someone are somwhat higher. who is playingin the group in front of pete?

I'd be more concerned if I was going up the fairway on his right.....

i'd bet that there would be no way to hold the green, even if you got lucky and picked the right line ... and had the distance.

that tee shot is a fair bit uphill if i remember rightly.

Thanks guys. She was only joking, I hope.... and no GPS for me either.

I never had the 12 on the possible list ( maybe a 5 wood with the wind and I'm on 10 points for the round ) 14 was possible but once again was going to leave the LD clubs in the bag and try to play smart.... But for some reason Iain, gets me to pull driver out on short holes

7th on the West is too short & too much trouble to have a go at.

If I was just have fun on sunday. the holes I could have a go at depending on weather and how I'm hitting the ball and of course (how big the tree are- never played the river and only the west once)

    West-7,13,14,16
    River-2,4,5,8,9,11,15,16

    The tradition continues....

    There's 14 shields left, who's next?

The idiots put a space in the name where they shouldn't have. I'd get them to redo it, but I'm so over dealing with the trophy place for this year. You'd think in that sort of job, you'd have good attention to detail, but what would I know.
