I'm at home today and just watched the whole final round without any disturbance (thanks Foxtel iq)
I like him, he was pretty relaxed, and if you looke d closely when he hit good shots his scorer or whatever held out the fist and he gave a pump, I liked that.
Ypu can't beat experience in a situation (was sort of match play in the end) like that, and he has it...

Another reason why I'm not a fan. Him and his caddy have a Fix It Again Tony, crap cars.

I put my hand up to being one of those who thought the first Masters win was a bit of a fluke. I really didn't think he'd ever win another major. Good on him. I like his style of golf but hate his swing.

I wonder if he isn't the modern day Arnold Palmer. I have read that Arnie used to be all over the shop with an unorthodox swing but got the job done. We won't compare them in the looks department though. Arnie was a good style of a bloke. I don't know what you'd call Bubba.

Like Phil, the good 'ol boy routine doesn't quite work with me. It always looks forced, when we get a peek inside its a different story http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/g...-spits-1106946

    Bubba is a douche.

Phil is a top guy in all situations, he's just got a little "figjam" going on.

John Daly is probably the biggest dummie spitter and hotel room trasher golf has seen ( out of notable golfers), but because he is a drunk and can play barefoot and topless with bogans yet he is idolised.

When it was revealed Tiger Woods is a cretin by the way he treats women many just say what he does off the course is his business.

There has got to be a real reason why so many people don't like Bubba Watson. The dummy spit he had in france that people like to regurgitate is nothing compared to others.

I dunno, he seems ok to me. If you are going to judge goflers on how they conduct themselves and use Phil as the measuring stick, I think just about all of them are going to come up short!!

I'm not quite sure he's idolised? But being an alcoholic (and other substance abuse I'm sure) was a large reason for the trashing of hotel rooms and dummy spits.

How does he treat women? He liked to screw a lot of them, doesn't mean he treated them badly, does it? Elin, yes, not necessarily any of the others.

He just comes across to me as a massive douchebag.

Not everyone has to like everyone else, that's just the way it is.

I remember hearing a story that Phil went to Callaway because they paid of a huge gambling debt, don't know if it's true though?

I love bubba, yea he gets all emotional and acts all funny. Some say he lucked his way into the first green jacket, but this one was won with great golf. He still hits a bad shot but gives the next one his all. Great stuff, wood of been happier if it was Adam Scott, but I can wait. Till next year for that
