The group was on the clock from 10, he was the only one warned so the other two pulled there finger out when they where timed or have more cash to pay people off.

I don't have a problem as long as they get everyone. Lets hope no other group is a hole behind

As long as Senden keeps the ball about 12 or more feet away from the hole for birdie putts, he will be ok. He is terrible on the short ones.

They were trialing tracking devices. In the GM(DC's mate)'s office, the salesman pointed out our group on the 16th hole, after the previous group had finished.

(Unfortunate combo - Stroke round with only half a field, after a couple of wet days. 3 in front wanted had a clear run and wanted to get on the punt and the hops. Our group included a young bloke spraying drives and provisionals in alternate directions, and two doing long pre-shot routines, after recent lessons. But still ahead of the next group.)

Course marshal approached one of our group (a committeeman) at the bar after the round, to say that all four had been pinged 2 shots.. He didn't have the balls to approach each player.

It didn't affect my score (I had already been resigned to slow play for the day.) But everyone in the club got a good laugh out of it, as I have a reputation of starting my backswing, as soon as the player aheads ball stops rolling.

Three days later, the marshal was made redundant.

I know it can be said of many, but if Senden had any clue with the short stick he would have been considered one of our greatest exports.

I wouldn't say no chance. His game is steady enough, and he certainly deserves to be there. I'd say a slim chance.
