Good friends of my sister have a beautiful young daughter who is now severely and irreparably retarded as a result of a reaction to vaccination. I should get you to give them a speech on the safety of vaccinations.
I linked information from the Australian Medical Association among other things. Groups like the AVN have been disbanded by the government for spreading misinformation. Interpret those how you will.

I'm sorry to hear of your friend's daughter. Many of us are parents here and we can only imagine how hard that would be. I'm also assuming nearly all of our kids have been fully immunised, with no adverse reactions, which is by far the majority result.
I would be genuinely interested to hear (via PM if you prefer) what the doctors diagnosed her with specifically re the vaccine reaction.

That's fine. You can be an internet expert, but no one else can be. I'm clear on that now.

By not in here I mean not in this thread. And you have no idea what my background is as far as vaccines go. As I don't on yours. However the study just released shows no link.

I think he's only claiming second level internet expert status by linking to actual experts - ie. people who do this for a job, have studied and published research in the field they are speaking on.

So you say not in this thread and choose to continue it in subsequent sentences?

If you wish to discuss it start a thread. Simple enough.

Sorry to hear of the daughter who had a reaction, but its a one in ten thousand or hundred thousand reaction. Compare that to fatality rates pre-immunisation.

Polio, rubella, mumps, measles, whooping cough and a host of other fatal diseases have been eradicated or almost eradicated thanks to immunisation.

Toni McCaffrey, sister of a former workmate lost a child due to someone not immunising their child against Whooping Cough. Its well documented http://sixtyminutes.ninemsn.com.au/s...ting-the-point

I think he will simply to make the papers a bit more.

I have a very strange feeling that we may be heading towards a drive to Yarralumla and the big DD.
