Abbott is a fool. But so is she. Doesn't make any difference unless you give the wankers a massive majority like the qlders did with Hitler Campbell.

Just crossing my fingers that he gets in, and stays in and keeps those Labor rats and Turnbull at bay for long enough.

Your turn, what is wrong with him.

The other comment was neither critical nor positive, just an observation.
I never said it was critical nor positive, fact is you were the first.

I'd rather see either party be able to follow through with their own vision than have to pander to a one-trick party to get the numbers.

I asked why he would be the best PM we have ever had. You made the statement - just wondering what he has said or done to back up that quite large call.

I am not aligned with any party.

I vote for who ever will provide the best opportunities for my family and community.

Its getting harder to do that these days because all sides just fling shit at each other and noone has the balls to set their policies and run there campaign on that basis.

Hopefully the Qld election was the beginning of the end of that shit. Anna Bligh tried that tact and it backfired. People have had enough of it. Somehow I doubt that the message will get through though.

    Easy ... he's done nothing !!

No policies, no direction ..... nothing !!!

Seriously, if he could only set out his direction for the country he'd win the next election in a heartbeat, as the ranga is about as popular as a turd in a spa.

I'd like to see he media immediately end an interview if they don't get an answer to a question they ask. They'll learn pretty quickly. I'd also like the media to report facts rather than get hysterical about everything that's said. Both are unlikely.

Julia's big problem that was on Sunrise she said 'No Carbon Tax' despite it being the party policy for years. It gave ammunition to call her Juliar.

The ALP then brought in a Super Profits tax which was watered down through a billionaire miner's scare campaign.

I read the other day that 50% of our population are in the Worlds Wealthiest 1%. I'll see if I can dig it up.

I like NBN. I like a anti pollution carbon tax, which has already lead to cleaner energy and more efficient use of resources. I believe the NDIS is overdue. THe water buy back in the Murray Darling has proven to be less painful, and injecting money into rural areas and buying out farms that were borderline financial and completely unsustainable ecologically.

Correct, he has never been PM before.

Oppositions generally outline detailed policies leading up to an election, its fairly pointless to do it earlier.

None of that reflects on what might be wrong with right wing politics in this country.

Having been through a few federal elections and lived under both Liberal and Labor, I struggle to find any policy change that actually has any substantive effect on my life or those I care about. Having knuckleheads in local council does which is why I take the time to vote.

Economically we are beholden to China and the rest of the globe so swapping Swan for Hockey is well... who cares. The rest is dishing out tax revenue, provided neither of them send me into masive debt, again I struggle to care.

Can anyone tell me 3 policies the Libs would sack and what they would replace it with, otherwise continue on with the personality contest.

    A couple of possibilities:
    - NBN
    - Work Choices
    - Carbon Tax

I support Abbott for PM. Apparently that's a problem according to others.

At the end of the day we end up with politians. One lot are spendthrifts while the other side thrifty. The spendthrifts have almost exhausted the kitty and bought everybody nice new things and generally used our money and resources to make us indebted to them. Somebody has to pay the bills and makeup the shortfall. Why not con the public and create a tax which creates the illusion that industry is being taxed when those really paying the tax are the general public. The Australian public are idiots they will fork up as they usually do, and our Carbon Tax policies will make The ALP leaders in combating greenhouse gases and save our financial budget problems. We the spendthrifts deserve to be in power at least one more term because there is still money to spend in the form of the carbon tax. We can always top it up with an increase of the GST and flick more cash to social welfare and the needy. But first is to get back into the seats and control the purse strings.
Consciousness and awareness - awareness is being aware of what is happening and being aware of what is happening within ourselves while we are conscious. Where did I leave my glasses?

That means he's educated, not smart. Give him a microphone and 5 minutes unscripted and he's bound to say something silly.

Why are we not hearing about this EVERY single day? Why hasn't there been more investigation to find the truth and culpability?
