I hope I play as good tomorrow as I practiced today. Hitting a pitching wedge almost 140 meters and with a little draw, not every time but I saying at least 85% of the time. I couldn't believe it, i only hit about 40 balls but they felt great off the club. I've been doing some extra stretching for my back and arms/shoulders and it seems to be letting me keep my head down longer and I actually have been watching the ball leave the club without playing off my back foot. Happy days

Good luck with controlling those distances , I went through a short bit where I was knocking my pw that far but was actuall muscling it too much , less control and my iron distances started clumping..if it works well done but don't be surprised if you need to back it off and get your natural swing speed going again .

Did you start hitting them flatter over the 140??

Its always good to see when u getan extra bit of distance from ur clubs. Just before i took a little break i found i was getting almost a full club length extra in my irons, all the way through to my 5i.

Just make sure its ALL your clubs, not just ur pw. If it is, i would suggest there is something going wrong with the way ur hitting that club.

He was known as Gold Coast golfer on isg, not sure his name on here, not important but the biggest flogger I've come across.

110 is a typical pw for me and I knock my driver around the 270 mark , when its straight... I wouldn't be surprised if your next few rounds play pretty terrible shorty if our distances are out you may have a hard time working that out , then I find when I'm not sure about which club to use I can't hit the ball for shit haha but good luck man , am interested in knowing how far you drive it ..

Not exactly, my irons are bent 1* strong because of my choppy swing. 46* wedge.

Ah ok no worries guys, but I think the way I played yesterday I deserve a decent ass kicking piss taking session. I bladed just about every iron that I hit yesterday, and the one time I needed to hit my PW 80 meters to get on the green for 2 I hit it about 120 meters and had 6 shots on a par4. As for driving I seem to be able to hit it 220-230 meters but not always straight

That's golf for you shorty! Why are you trying to hit your PW 80m?

Did you find out the loft of your PW? I'd say it is strong and you were delofting it again to get 140.
