    Default Long time watcher, first time player.

    Hey guys,

    For many years I have enjoyed this great game on my couch but apart from hitting balls in a paddock I haven't touched a golf course until earlier this week and even then only managed 5 holes (poor organisation)

    2013 I plan to be the year where I can finally get out and play some golf, get myself a handicap and meet some fellow players as my mates aren't as sport minded as I am. Currently have some really old clubs I got off my Pa years ago. Hoping to get some semi-decent clubs that will give me a chance of improving early on in the new year.

    I already love the set up you have here and look forward to partaking in your events when I'm able to consistently find my ball

    Elcho Park in Lara is 5 minutes from my house. A top spot to begin at, as its not too complex but still has a couple of challenges.

    Welcome aboard, Buckets.

    It's an easy game. You just have to hit the ball onto the fairway, then hit it onto the green and then sink the putt.

    Unlike a cricketer or tennis player, you get 14 pieces of specially engineered equipment to choose from.

    Not at all however I'm about to acquire my license sometime in Jan-Feb so I imagine I will be visiting many courses around the state.
