Maybe. If they get here before tax time, I’ll ask my accountant.

This thread is not filling me with confidence. Hoping a putter will turn up in Sydney from Adelaide in 2 weeks. I’m not optimistic.

You should be right unless they're flat stick.

Got an update yesterday that it’s at Underwood QLD. Given the flooding up this way I am hesitant to believe the estimate Aus Post gives me that they’ll be here on Wednesday.

Australia Post strikes again!! Had a club shipped to a hotel I'll be staying at tomorrow. Tracking says it arrived on Monday. Hotel saying it never arrived. Whilst the hotel staff have not filled me with confidence after numerous conversations, I'd say it's around 99.9% the fault of auspost and the rest with the hotel. Either way, pretty ****ing annoyed.

AP just continue to fail miserably.

I had an item shipped from OS (HK) . It was only a small, low cost item so wasn't sweating on it. On 8/8 it turned up on APs tracking with a new tracking number and then nothing for a couple of weeks. So I lodged a request to trace and got an email reply that 1) didn't tell me anything I couldn't already ascertain off MyPost tracking. 2) offered no further actions 3) gave me no options to take it further and 4) and then immediately saw my request marked as resolved! Basically, reading between the lines, it told me that they appeared to have lost it, and didn't know what to do next to find it!

Ironically the item turned up a few days later (near 3 weeks after they first received it) and their tracking hasn't shown any change or update other than my request to trace (only because I used MyPost to lodge it). Just hopeless. I am lucky though that the current parcel delivery contractor is on the ball, very helpful and a golf enthusiast, or it would probably be a lot worse dealing with these clowns .

I've actually had a good run. 40+ items this year have all landed fine excepting a single one where the address was on a corner (golf shop/club) which apparently shouldn't be overly difficult but does get tricked up. Delivery effort showed up funky in the tracking and after ringing them we sorted it out with a bit of difficulty and it arrived next day or the one after. I've also had a couple of handfuls come to me without any trauma.

One hiccup the other day occurred when i had mom send something to get it away fast as i would be away working and they somehow charged her for a couple of stamps and a card. Tho only a few bucks i sorted it out quick as they get a lot of oldies in there and i heavily suspect it was purposeful. "Must have been a stamp on the scales" was the excuse with no mention of the card tho it was refunded too. a stamp on the scales LOLOL

Heavy delays setting in now. I've noticed tracked parcels are arriving 1-2 days late but anything not tracked "mail system" is taking forever.
20 days and counting for a few small items coming from NSW & VIC > ADL

Aus post has already advised mail is been delayed deliberately. No more express.

    Dunno about 20 days though.

Auspost acknowledged it was lost in the system today and I received a refund.Part of me is surprised that a full credit was given, but it's a good result.

The lady who runs the local post office is from Fiji and just dropped me off two free lobsters and some home made chocolates . No complaints here.

One of your neighbours is confused as to why they have a driver head.

I had our postie drop something to my place by mistake a few months back. It had my address, but it definitely wasn’t mine.

A day later there was a knock at my door and the postie was extremely relieved that the package was still sealed and he took it a few doors down. Hopefully the same thing happens for you.
