I guess we'd better get this done... the vertically but not talent challenged pygmies to battle it out over 18 gruelling burgers holes.

Best for me is a Sunday at the moment, due to my F.I.L. committments at this time of the year, but may be tempted to do a midweek round. Also happy to do The Vines if it is more convenient for you on a Sunday (I've played there a LOT over the years, so I wouldn't feel disadvantaged at it being your home track)

No one mentioned "discussing" Floorburgers, just keeping the facts straight.

Keep your focus on Fit, not I.

Please give us score, but more importantly, Shank updates. May I recommend taking video footage of any shot Fit hits from less than 150m.

Pro tip for today: stand on the left side of Fit when he has an iron in his hand.

Lowest 'cap ever...and I'm a bandit? And what if I don't wear horizontal stripes? I was flushing my irons yesterday at the range...not a shank in sight. I have figured out the problem from last week anyway, and it was NOT so much a swing issue.

We will post the winner, but there won't be updates. We are at Mt Lawley and phones are frowned upon mid game! But either Vic or I would love to play your 'tainted' ass in the Final.

With how I am scoring at the moment, everyone is a bandit to me.

What time are you guys off?

Who is the 4th(I know TG is there)?

    Damn your edits Fit.

Throwing putters is also frowned upon mid game, but that never stopped you.

Are you telling me that when Mega played there recently, he didn't have his phone out the entire round.

Why should you care, I heard you were joining PGN? Is that true?

No shanks. We both hit 35 points.

Congrats to TourFit. He is playing some outstanding golf at the moment. To come back from dormy 5 after giving away 7 strokes is the stuff heroes are made of. Commisserations to ID. A couple of crunch shots in the end slightly opened the door for Fit to come back. The final will be awesome. Araluen???

We started on the back 9...idgg got 3 shots. And he scored 21pts. I was no chance, as he played really solid. We turned with ID 3 up.

He then had shots on 1, 2, 4 and the Par 3 8th. I managed (just) to square 1 & 2, but then Vic won with a great birdie on 3 and then with his shot on 4. Before I knew it it was Dormy 5. It's not like I was playin' bad or anything.

I then hit driver on 5 (which I never do) and almost lost it. ID was in the right trees too, and punched out. We found my ball (I was literally about to concede the hole & match), I chipped out but was still in the trees on a sandy lie. I then hit my best shot of the day onto the green and eventually won with a bogey after IDGG put his 3rd in the bunker and didn't get up & down. DORMY 4.

On the Par 3 6th I hit a solid 8 iron to the front of the green, and ID buried it in the face of the bunker. He got out, but then 3 putted. DORMY 3.

On 7, I hit 3W downwind down the left side, while Vic pulled his driver low left and ran into the scrub. He chipped out and then hit a great long iron that was unlucky that it didn't stop on the green. From the back edge he took 3 to get down (even with the help of Nuffies' ball). I 2 putted for par. DORMY 2.

The 8th is a 175m Par 3...a tough hole with a fast green. Vic got a shot on this hole, so I was expecting the worst. But I flushed a 6 iron to about 12ft, but past the hole. IDGG put his in the bunker, got out to the other side of the green and putted down to a couple of feet. He opted to putt out and nailed it to put the pressure on. I now had to hole my 12ft downhill L to R putt to stay in the match, which I managed to do. DORMY 1

On 9 I hit a good drive and IDGG was also in the middle, but a little further back. He flushed his long iron to perfect position up the double dogleg fairway, putting the pressure on again. I hit 4 iron, leaving a short 50m pitch. ID pulled his 96m wedge into the left pot, but I hit my 60* a little heavy and came up short of the green on the fringe. ID's bunker shot almost went off the other side, but managed to hold up. I putted, almost holed it and ran 4-5ft past. Vic 2 putted for a 6, leaving me with the short one for the win and to get A/S.

We managed to squeeze back onto the 1st for the 19th...and I hit a really solid driver into the wind (I don't normally). Vic was left and in a pretty ordinary lie, managed to advance it forward 50m or so. I hit a safe 9 iron to the centre of the green, and IDGG chunked his 3rd just short, he went for the chip and ran it past the edge but 5ft past. I putted up to a couple of feet and Vic holed out for 5, leaving me a 3 footer for the win.

WOW... thanks for the game Vic. And to Nuffie and TommyG as well.

TourFit, TommyG and IDGG all scored 35pts. Nuffie 31pts (and he was able to talk himself into hitting everything left on the back 9)

You mean Nuff vs Duck (hook)? This shot just will not go away. So, where will the Nuck vs the Duck?

It was great and 'Fit impressed me to win 6 holes at the end.

I couldn't keep focus for the full 18. Golf is easy for 10 holes.

Yeah hats off to fit...from dormy 5 he really pulled out some solid pressure golf... it was a pleaseure to watch. Well done mate, and thanks heaps for taking me out for a hit.

As for ID, he played really well on the front...but once we got him talking about his guitars and reminiscing about his dreadlocked groupie dripping gigging days the wheels started falling off... all in all a great day out... and the black chicken lunch he introduced us to in morley was outstanding. That place is a real find.

Well done TF. Backing up your final win from last year by making it into the final this year is quite an effort. It's also good to hear that you are playing your best golf ever at the moment.

Commiserations ID. You did well to get this far.
