    Default Sat 1/12 Adelaide somewhere

Coming down to the big smoke for the Wiggles concert, planning to have a hit with a mate on the Saturday 1/12.

My mate is a member at Mt Osmond but would prefer to play somewhere else.

Is anyone able to get us on somewhere and/or wants to have a hit? Know its probably a stretch on saturday being comp day. My mate is off 14 and I'm off 15 (altough he is a 10x better player than me!)

    Cheers,
    Pete

Pete, try PM'ing Chilled, I know he usually plays on a Saturday morning at Mt Compass/Fleurieu, and tends to have spare spots going! Most of the guys I know play Sundays ........

Mt Compass is a 'links' style course that can be challenging, (quite a bit of water to negotiate and the second cut of rough can sometimes be very long), but it is one of my favourites! Just have to think your way round, but I am sure Chilled will give you all the local knowledge

Your in for treat Catch22, Compass is a great track and is a good test. Good shots are rewarded and the bad is often punished.
I must get over for a round there again as I haven't played there since I won open the first year they took stopped playing preferred lie. Titleist 990's had only just come out and that was about my 4th & 5th round with them so it was a fair while ago.

Thanks for the game chilled, was lots of fun and a very nice course with some great views.

Luckily I got my full moneys worth and experienced all of the features like bunkers (even if they werent on the hole I was supposed to be playing) and the inviting looking water.

Bad bad idea to have a lesson they afternoon before and struggled just a tad with hooks.
But a good day out and great to meet another ozgolfer!

No worries mate, good to meet you guys : )

Great weather for it, just a tad windy at times. Not an easy course if you haven't played it before.

Any time you are down this way feel free to drop in for a hit
