How will you identify your Penta TP5 at the Wanker champs?
Seems everyone is using these top pills now. Mine will have a single black Texta dot to right of the number. Whilst I only expect to use 3 in the 3 rounds I will be playing, if you find my lost one in the rough/trees/hazard I'd appreciate it back.
Thanks, Jack.

They also had Cally Tour iSs on sale, 3-dozen for about $76.
Geez, those Tour iS's are a steal for that price. Might grab some of those and a box of the Penta's to try out. I see they have free delivery Aus wide. Problem solved!

Maybe GB are trying to give Squizzies a run? I sometimes get AAA balls from them too.

I see Squizzy's have AAA Penta's for only $20.00 but I would assume they are the old version Penta's. I've got a few dozen AAA's from them in my time too.

They are the old model Penta TP (and there is not THAT much difference, truth be told...just more yearly TM marketing hype!) They also have the NXT Tour S (white AND Yellow) in AAA at $25 dozen. That is a ripper of a ball.
I may also play the Top Flite for the Champs. It will avoid ALL confusion. (Gamer v2)

Drummond are having a 4 day sale, Thursday to Sunday, saw an ad saying TP3 were down to $28/doz, so TP5 might also slip under the current $33. Supposedly everything is marked down and TP3 and TP5 were both going for $33 normally.
I've heard TP3 spins more on full shots from 8-9-wedge distance, but TP5 spins more from say 30m in on partial swings, can anyone yay or nay that?

Makes sense from a designing perspective. The higher swing speed players don't need as much spin on full shots (the extra speed takes care of that) whereas slower S.S. players do...but lower 'capper / higher S.S. players need the greenside check & control on partial shots. Higher 'capper and lower S.S. players could do with less greensside spin and more predictability of release on partial shots mainly due to a more inconsistent strike with lofted clubs.

Lol
I'll actually be dissappointed if I don't see someone marking their golf ball like this at champs.

Precepts are awesome. Veeman bought 12 dozen of them when they first had them at $40 a dozen.
I bought a dozen he had left over off him last year and after a bad spell where I was losing one a round have been using the same three in rotation since may. It is starting to get a bit hard to pick the best looking one to play before each round now though.

Maybe I should buy some as well. Harty has them for $36 a dozen but Rob will usually price-match any retailer in Perth.
Of course that would bring to an end any idea that only "cool guys" play them.
Oh and as far as markings go, I'll just use my regular, boring mark. Everyone seems to know that. G
One of our club members brought a ball back from Albany 5 years ago that he found in the range bucket and reckoned was mine, even though he thought I had never played Callaways. Turns out it was one I lost about 8 years ago when I played my one and only weekend there.

I liked finding balls with that "G" on back to back weekends on 16&17 last year.
