Since, you've got Brookwater covered, it's a bit hard to name one. Coolum if you can get on it, I guess.

Hope Island and The Glades would get my vote and are close to your base. I would also include Royal Qld, but it is a bit pricey unless you have a member that can get you on.

Could possibly fit in another 2 rounds. What are the better tracks around that I should have a hit on?
Also wouldn't mind having a hit with fellow Ozgolfers once I sort out tee times. Plan to play Brookwater on Monday 29th Oct, The Palms and the Pines on 31st and 2nd.
The other two rounds I'll play somewhere on the 3rd, 4th, or 5th.

Play Murwillumbah, nothing else around here is special, and are either overrated, overpriced or both!

Glades is a lot harder than Lakelands.
Matty ... If you can get on any of the following, I dont think you'll be disappointed.
Hope Island
RQ
Glades
Lakelands.
Robina might be worth a call too ..

I am the direct opposite, I can remember just about every hole at The Glades, but not a one at Lakelands. Lakelands is always in top nick, but I find it very same same. The Glades greens are a Hybrid Bent grass and great to putt on, albeit they tend to mark up quickly.

Having done numerous trips to the Gold Coast, I would agree with the Glades/Hope Island as the two standouts, albeit they don't have much to beat. Lakelands as Daves mentioned has very few redeeming features although I did enjoy the waterfall hole, if anything screams GC tackiness, it's that. At all these places you spend a lot of time wending your way through cheap looking townhouses where it appears nobody lives.
I love my golf but last time we were up there the boys played Robina, I went to the pub.
