Kennedy Bay, From the blacks. This Wednesday.

The Kennedy Bay Specialists going Head to Head. It's the Dream Match Up.

And It's off the Stick. That's Right ladies and Gentlemen, no shots given.

We are playing it like the Gentleman we are in it's purest form.

KB, Black Tees, off the stick. What could
    Go wrong?

Who did you beat off the stick, Tommy?
Doesnt really count as it was just a 9 hole friendly, and a certain melville member choked on his home course.

This was my idea but naturally JC jumped at it.

I play off 10 currently but I don't want to forever. My goal is to play off 5 eventually and this is the start of the journey.

How many shots in pennants have you had to give up in pennants Hocko? Or JC? If we played 3/4 it would only be 4 shots anyway.

Matchplay is pure golf and I I cannot beat him on merit then I don't deserve to win. Like Tommy said I have birdied all holes at KB and eagled 3 of them. How is it fair that I get 4 shots?

I am up against it here no doubt, but why should I play average and still win? I will have to play some really really good golf to win. Isn't that the way it is supposed to be?

Unfortunately I haven't play or even ranged since Mandurah either so it could something in the low 80's that wins it
I gave up lots of shots Shadesy, but I do agree, it toughens you up playing a better golfer.

You know as we'll as I do that I wasn't playing match play as I normally would. Hitting hybrid of a tree root from 220 out trying to reach the green isn't smart.

There's a fair difference in that cricket, and lets say tennis has you reacting directly to what your opponent puts forward where as golf is your own doing with a stationary ball. I jumped forward a long way in tennis when i was put in the top grade. You get to places (and beat players) you never thought possible. Some don't step up but you never know unless you have a go.

I do get that you would have to play with extra aggression and confidence to match your (better) opponents actual scores. Definitely see the merit in what you say.

The beauty of MP is that you can have a couple of blowout holes and still be in it but Shadesy I going to have to have a blinder!

For sure Hocko, different game isn't it. Hopefully Shadesy will push hard and post a top score.

Not sure what time you guys are teeing off, but it's blowing an absolute gale in Rockingham at the moment. Could make things interesting if it keeps up!

Your wife told him to hide there when she heard you come home...and it's funny, she told me she doesn't call it his 'baseball bat'!
