If you choose you playing partner you play in the group at their handicap. One of the really nice things about golf here is that you see a lot of young couples playing so golf is growing here.

On slow play in particular, as the maximum handicap is 54, the expected time for 9 holes is 2 hr 20 min. But the marshal is out on the course monitoring play. If you drop behind you are told to speed up, pick up the ball if you cannot score, etc. You get a 2nd warning, 3rd warning and the entire group is removed from the course.
Is that the maximum handicap for the group??
That's not that quick for 9
Course marshals would work on any course.
