Because the files could be full of viruses, and then if they were you'd be in here bitching about those.

Yes, but if they are available through iTunes then their validity is checked and put into appropriate formats etc.

You can put kiddie porn through iTunes if they're your own files.

She's really keen to give it a go. Have to load them into itunes itself which is just a stupid ****ing idea as it is. Then try to transfer them to her iphone and they won't transfer because she has icloud or something turned on. Have to turn icloud syncing or whatever it is off to be able to transfer them to her phone, but it says if we do that it'll delete all the music she has (Apple music subscription) on her phone. Who the ****ing hell comes up with these ****ed ways of ****ing doing these things. They are ****ed in the head. Ultimate media device my ****ing arse. Yeah, didn't expect that to sneak through. Is the infraction system still in place? Happy to take what ever penalty is doled my way. My own fault.

Ok, so one of the kids needs a new phone. Will be an iPhone. I saw Telstra have 32g iPhone 6 for $449 ATM, with some prepaid $30 thing. He doesn't need the pre paid thing as we're on a plan. Not gonna find anything better than that am I?

Officeworks/Harvey Norman have the 32gb SE for $399 on prepaid Telstra. According to the guys on Whirlpool it can be unlocked straight away with Telstra.

OK, they're not two places I would have thought of! Thanks guys! We're on telstra anyway so shouldn't need to be unlocked!

My workmate bought his iPhone 6s from Kogan. He was peaking about it being fake or something going wrong with it technically but he confirmed the serial number with apple before the purchase and it all checked out. The phone was unlocked, Came via DHL 4 days after ordering and hasn't had a single issue with it since he received it. He recommends them pretty highly.

Unless they are an authorised seller, they would be grey imports and warranties would not be honoured in Australia.

True, The phone isn't Australian delivered so the warranty is an issue. That's the risk taken to save some dollars I guess.

We got one from HN. He's pretty stoked so far. Turned up pretty quickly, and we put his telstra sim in it (not the one that came with it) and all working fine. He's had no probs playing pokemon go with it thus far..............

Jas's 6 battery is getting funky. She's got the whole dropping from 25% to dead straight away, then when plugging in reporting like 25% battery. I've told her to consider doing a full wipe/reset etc but she's not keen. Is that the way to go when they start doing this? Or should we really be looking at a new battery? And what are the batteries like from the shopping centre places? We did have the old 5 battery replaced at an Apple store after it was nearly 2 years old, but that was under warranty and part of some replacement program the serial number fell into.

I have an Android phone which has facial ( iris) recognition, 10 core processor, 2080 by 1080 resolution 21mp camera, which cost me less than $200, why should I ever think about paying 10 time more for Apple.?
