I have yet to see an iPhone without a case on it of some sort, so 'iPhone users must be paranoids as well.

I did a train trip into the city earlier in the week, every female I saw with a 'phone, had an iPhone. So it seems like they are a bunch of girls also.

Just means they're easier to use. You know how the ladies struggle with technology!

I have dropped my Galaxy S2 numerous times without any dramas. Half of the crew I work with have iPhone 4's and most of them have smashed screens.
There are about 7 of us who have the Galaxy S2 yet none with smashed screens.
I am a Samsung fan I will admit, half of my house if filled with Samsung products

You guys must be the luckest iPhone owners around, I would see at least 1 or 2 a day with cracked or completely smashed screens.

I would say the others are unlucky. By pure mass volume of iPhones out there their would be over 90% that haven't had cracked or broken anything.

Incorrect, but nice trolling attempt. Compare this thread to the Samsung galaxy thread for trolling and "my phone is better", you'll see who's got the real inferiority complex!

There's been plenty of trolling Eag's.

As said some people like iPhones. Some don't.

It's kinda like trying to convince a religious person there is no jeebus isn't it?

I'm on to my 4th iPhone, never busted any (and daves is right, I'm a clumsy bastard), my GF has had 3, my brother 2, plenty of friends that have had varied models throughout the years. The only one I've ever seen broken was a friend who had one smash when he was in a car accident. Hardly the phones fault. I've NEVER seen one busted from being dropped. Not one. But everyone has their own experiences, don't they... No doubt you have seen a few busted ones.

So much flogging over the Galaxy S. Why don't the other models get mentioned? Are they too shit?

you must not see many iPhones ,I would be pretty confident the glass breaking would be the main reason they changed the design and switched to a mainly metal back, and recessed the front glass more. I know of people who have taken there cracked iPhone 4/4s back to Apple and they have replaced them on the spot, why would they do that if they didn't think it was a bad design. Hopefully the 5 won't be as bad with the design changes.

No iphone here, no Samsung either.

I have 6 mates with iPhone 4 and 4S's. ALL have either a cracked screen or had the screen replaced. One smashed the screen on the first day dropping it 6 inches to an unfortunate landing.

Trust me goonie, I see a lot of iPhones. Cos they all come to me with their questions. You are right, that probably is the reason they changed the design, because it was happening more often than they would have liked, but it still wasn't a huge amount. And the reason they replace them on the spot is because of the 12 month AppleCare warranty. They replace things free of charge, pretty much no questions asked because they stand by their products. I would say that's great customer support and service. And for an extra $79 (or thereabouts) you can make that warranty up to 3 years.
