What started as me pulling James' chain has resulted in me going from no phone for the last 4 years to buying an iphone 3(Moe Norman),iphone 4(Funz) and a ipad 3g(LeftyHooges).
Ferrins, I have this plot of land on the moon...
If you start out depressed everything’s kind of a pleasant surprise.
WITB: stuff.
And you keep hitting at it with your drives.

Thanks for the updates Leftyhoges, would never have known otherwise....
I see value in the Mini, I think the iPad is too big might as well get a netbook.
but then again, if you have an iphone why get any ipad
Apple is selling them in Australia almost the same price asin the USA. Did you forget that there is a 10% tax included here?

I've had a i5 for 3 days now, my i4 spat the dummy on Sunday and after taking the back off the battery clip/logic board connection had failed on the solder, it just dropped straight off. Probably will fix it when I can find someone to do it or a cheap logic board.
So far happy with the 5, battery life seems OK, I charge it up before I leave work and I have about half left by the time I get into work the next day. I listen to audiobooks/music via bluetooth for 2 hours (hour each way to work)
Data usage seems inline with my previous phone, except when playing with the 3D maps over the LTE, I used around 100mb in a little over 20mins.
Happy so far
I had a massive spike in use the other day, only thing I pinpoint it to was use of the maps. I know not not to use that!
Hmm... Seems I used about 90MB navigating my way through the city on Saturday using 4G. That was a little bit of web browsing but mainly maps, I presume.
Interesting. You wouldn't want to use your phone to navigate your way through the city every day...
For navigation, I've been using the Whereis app
Its just a basic map, but it will give you directions via Audio, even while playing music. Doesn't seem to use much data, I use it all the time.
