Gavin Simms Memorial Cup 2012 - Accommodation Thread
Straight off the success of Simmsy's Prize Money Thread comes the Accommodation Thread. (special thanks to the OZgolf Mods)
I have 7 Swiss Chalets which sleep 4 people Each booked for both Friday and Saturday.
http://www.discoveryholidayparks.com.au/wa/bunbury_south_west/bunbury_village/accommodation
All Booked and Paid For. Thanks for everyone's help in getting the cash to me so diligently. It was painless and made my life easy. Thanks very much
There will be no "roomies" decided despite numerous requests to room with Rubin, its work it out on the day. Lets face it the Rooms are for sleeping/passing out and Poker.
The only Rooms Decided is that Simmsy, Hocko and idgolfguy are sharing one 4 person Chalet between them on Friday (Blame Ashes). All other chalets will have 4 people per Chalet.
Simmsy, Hocko and idgolfguy are paying extra for the privilege to have more space, before anyone complains, they are doing us all a favour by keeping the cost per person down to $40. I will put a list up in the next week once Accommodation filters through.
Paid: Everyone
Keys: We are meant to Check in by 6pm but with golf probably going well past that I have organised for Keys to be packaged and left in a Drop Box. I will have the code so if you plan on getting there before 6pm let me know. If after 6, also let me know as I will give you the code to collect ALL 7 Keys.

Sausage Sizzle to be hosted by Rubin & Yoss on the Friday night I believe.
Rubins having leftovers on Saturday night, I'm thinking Thai from in town.

Sat Veeman and fit could feast it up, but cooking for 25 seems way too difficult. Takeaway is a much better/easier option.

Fnuk Takeaway!
I'll clean up and head into a reasonable restaurant for a meal on Saturday.
Hopefully, there will be a couple of others thinking the same thing.

By thinking the same thing do you mean acknowledging that in Bunbury Hungry Jacks is a reasonable restaurant?

No! Table service - Thai, Italian, Indian - generally not something I am going have cooked by a 15 year old in under 5 minutes.

You missed the caveat about the 15 year-old short-order cook.

Myself and Veeman are both qualified chefs, and we kind of volunteered...but in the end, I/we just can't be bothered either.
I'm with Vic...sit down meal in a proper restuarant/cafe is FAR better then takeaway crap. Bunbury has some nice places to eat.

Maybe you could do a live blog of the food and wines as you consume them for those of us with more brusque palates.

Maybe you could just go to HJ's while we're at the restaurant?

Cooking for 25 would have been NO problem for Vee & I...seriously.
Getting all you f*ckers to agree to a suitable list of tucker might have been though!
