Got put onto these guys recently by a guy I work with. Enjoying what I've heard so far (despite them coming from Canada!)

So much ordinary music going on the last few pages.

Mate of mine is singer / composer for this band. I don't care much for his music, so you guys might like it.

Rather not. I am not enlightened or artistic enough to appreciate the alternative pop genre.

    I just like loud noises.

While you might not like my music I listen to sir, I submit to you it doesn't sound like this.

For fans of recent Radiohead album, this is a great track featuring Thom Yorke. Nice album too.

I would have thought the new Radiohead album was right up the alley of fans of loud noises, given the mastering job they did on it.

Thanks for the heads up buddy. I listened to it anyway, because you never know what might impress you.

    This didn't. It's a shame, because I like Thom Yorke's singing.

Been listening to The 1975 a bit lately... there's better songs but this one caught my attention when I listened closer to the lyrics:

You said I'm full of diseases
Your eyes were full of regret
And then you took a picture of your salad
And put it on the internet

Nice one Courty. I first heard The 1975 when they released a single called Chocolate a while ago. A very melodic retro-80s sound.

I have to agree - listened to a fair bit of it but it all seems either boy band / easy listening or elevator muzak.

What was going on with your youtube link Yoss? One minute it was Camp Cope, came back to the thread after grabbing their album, and now it's Mark Pritchard! The Camp Cope had me flashing back on uni days for some reason.
