Currently listening to Bob Dylan's new one, Together Through Life.

Any Dylan fans here? What are your thoughts?

For me it is a little meh. Easy listening, but in the words of the Brentmeister general, it doesn't grab me by the bollards.

I've never been able to get into most of "new Dylan" sort of like "new Neil Young". As you say it just doesn't seem to have the same bite or passion at times.

Sort of like Pearl Jam actually... I remember being so excited when the Avacado album came out, but it was a bit of a let down, solid but not the same.

As neil young said, its better to burn out than it is to rust.

Yeah, Pearl Jam lost me a long time ago. People have raved about a few of the more recent releases, so I gave them a spin..... waste of time really.

Sometimes I laugh when I think of legends like Hendrix. 3 albums in as many years and then died. He didn't have time to "lose it". Although those in charge of his estate have done their best
