I hope you weren't thinking about Bryan and Ryan Adams in the shower!

I bet she gets laid more than all of us combined. And probably by hotter women as well.

    Any Andrew Bird fans here?

I have been giving his discography a fair run. Not really a weak point in there.

Have listened to Armchair Apocrypha and Noble Beast a bit more than others. That is not to say they are any better though. Apparently The Mysterious Production Of Eggs is the pick of the punch, but I only grabbed that up the other day. Something to look forward to.

    New tunes for me:

Damien Jurado: Caught In The Trees.

This one took a few listens. It has grown on me very strongly. It is a fantastic folk/rock album, for fans of Bon Iver/Damien Rice and the like. Highly recommend it. I am making my way through a bit more of his discography now.

    Also revisiting some 2008 classics:

Fleet Foxes. This album is incredible. Enough said.
    Dig Lazarus Dig!
    For Emma, Forever Ago.
    Rook.

2009 has put nothing forward to comes close to these albums.

Guns n' Roses, greatest hits. These guys could have been one of the best bands, ever, if they had stayed together.

As much of a tool that Axl is, he makes some damn good music.

Has anyone seen the line up for the Pearl Jam tour of Australia in November?

    Liam Finn
    Ben Harper
    Pearl Jam

That is one damn fine show right there.

I have seen them live. I thought they were pretty good, a little overrated perhaps. That line up is solid though.

Members Equity is not the best venue I might add. Where did they play last time?

Subi Oval, again not the best venue but they were tight. Kings of Leon as support was awesome too, before they were famous.

Califone: Quicksand/Cradlesnakes and Roots and Crowns

I am really liking this. Kind of experimental alt-country/rock.

Yep, it is good, but haven't given it a huge run. Will listen again.

Challenge is an OK venue, sound quality is average, dunno how it will handle the volume of Slayer and Megadeth
