I've had a chance to have a first listen to it. First impressions would be that there are a couple of quite good tracks, and the rest of the album is pretty decent. I wouldn't call it Indie, more just rock/ soft rock. There'll be a couple that get some regular airtime in my playlists.

I've actually got a soft spot for Tonic - have the first two albums and I listen to them occasionally. My favourite Tonic song would be Sunflower.

Have reaquainted myself with Concrete Blonde recently, IMO they were great and I understand they are touring Oz in October

Tourfit, I only recently grabbed the Band of Horses discography. IMO the quality of their music has declined with each album. Start with their debut, Everything All the Time.

I just grabbed Grinderman: Grinderman 2.

Agreed. It is more like a fusion of Grinderman 1 and a Bad Seeds album.

Rock album of the year? Quite possibly.
