Back again already.
Second round different course for the day. Crushed the drive off the Tee into the wind splitting the middle leaving 144m in.
6 iron again into the wind and it was all hosel this time. Small tree stopped it going a lot further right which would have been better than the drop down dead behind it got. Rolled in a 10 footer to save Bogey.
New day a here already on the 6th hole.
Great drive leaving 115m in. Hit that fat coming up 10m short of green. Easy chip to flat green and plenty of room to work with.
All hosel chip scuttling off at 45. Drop kick the next for easy double.
8th hole par 4
Chop back onto fairway. 9 iron in and it tickles the hosel a bit hitting a tree resulting in an unplayable. Eventually chipped in for a triple from 15m out.
12th Hole par 3
5iron into the wind and it’s all hosel hitting a tree stopping it from being deep into the thick trees. End up with another double.

I’ll use this one I created posting in wrong thread yesterday. Reserving without coming straight out saying it, lol.
Even with the card through 8 holes in the Wednesday comp at Port Fairy I found the second fairway bunker on the rhs after aiming straight at it off the Tee expecting the wind to push it back to the rhs of fairway.
Hit good a 6 iron out of the bunker that hit the green middle left and went over.
First chip of the day off a good lie I needed a high flop over the bump.
Got a piece of the hosel and put myself behind the bunker in a spot very difficult to get close. Proceeded to leave a long putt making a stupid double after playing so well to that point.

Only had one day on the trip (Thursday) where I didn’t hit the funny shot and only 2 of 7 rounds without one.
Last hosel rocket of trip came during the first of 2 rounds played on the last day.
Hit my best drive of the round to that stage on the short 267m par 4 8th leaving a 25m flick to the pin from the best possible approach angle. The 56 degree wedge was chosen for the shot and zing off at 45 angle it went leaving a hard ask to get up and down. Played a great chip off a down hill lie to a green below and failed to hole a makable save.
