I shanked one in a bunker today, into the lip, 45 degree bounce into the air and onto the green 3 feet from the hole.

    It's not always bad.

Friday. Binningup. I had 3...one into the lake off 2, one into the face of the bunker on 6 (after blading it in there from the back bunker) and in front of the crowd from the bunker on 9 and into the lake!

Didn't have any on Sat/Sun (that I remember)

At Mt Lawley today I had two in a row. One was a little beauty, about 35m and 60* right and into the trees with a 54* GW. The chip-out shanked into a tree at 45*.

Other than that I think I am playin' quite well.

I officially have the shanks again.
My last three rounds: 36 points, 40 points and 22 points.

Went to the range earlier today. Shanked every 5th ball. Flushed the rest.

    I need to break something.

I had a few which were damn close to the hosel... Tommy G had one attempting a flop shot at the practice green at KB that nearly killed Jack...

Tommy probably saw nothing wrong with attempting a flop shot at a crowded green, wearing boardies.

    How do you cook them?
Mrs uses a Turkish cooking pot with lots of spices. Usually have it with rice or mash.

Not sure mate, I'm not a cooks a-hole and have never done them before! Probably brown them in the pan this morning and then slow cook them for the rest of the day with some red wine, rosemary and garlic.

All aboard the shank train !!!!!

The last 3 or 4 times I've been to the range I have not been able get past the halfway mark on the bucket before it's hosel rocket central dammit! It all starts off fine and dandy until something snaps. I'm getting a little concerned that there is now more wear on my hosels than on the faces of my clubs. It's just so bloody frustrating becuase it puts an end to any practice I attempt to do. I have ended up walking away and leaving half a bucket of balls behind on a number of occasions

On the bright side though, I am relatively shankless when out on the course which is a bonus. Go figure.

Ashes, it's probably too late now but I've done lamb shanks in port and balsamic using the slow cooker and they went alright. Was using a recipe from somewhere which I now can't find so you will need to wing it if you want to give it a go.

Well i had a seious case this moning.

Medal round. 1st par. Second 6iron off the tee and bang. Snap right oob. Get another ball and bang same result oob. Third ball and guess what snap right. My only saving grace was the telegraph pole that i hit that put the ball in the middle of the fairway.
Now compose yourself cause it gets better. Get to ball 190 water carry to green. Guess what snap oob again! So thats 3 gone. Now by now i had a serious case of cbf itis. Dropped yet another ball. Topped this one over the hill. Not sure if in piss or somehwhere else. Called lost. Put ncr on card and piss farted last 8 holes before leaving!

Just need to find the i got my drunk on thread to forget the whole affair!
