First round of club champs... got around the first 9 playing to my HC. Developed a chronic case of the shanks on the back on half wedge shots and ended at the back of the field. Saved some face today by bouncing back with a net 70 which was top 5 in the wind.
What's the likely cause of my shanks if I'm only getting them on half wedge shots? My bad shot on full swings at the moment seems to be a block if that is of any assistance.Nickent 4DX Tour 9*

HA ... I wish I could help you. In the past month I have started to have 1 or 2 shanks per round and it is always a half wedge from around the 50m mark. I wish I knew what the hell is causing it. Originally Posted by dhills2
