10th fairway, 130m out. Wind was pretty stiff & straight into us so I decided on a knockdown 6 iron. Didn't close the clubface and WHAMMO! Fore right!
Of course it finished behind a tree. I tried to get my gap wedge up & over it but bladed it through the tree & over the back of the green instead.

You know they travel in 3's

Thought I had gotten away without one of these today at Kapunda but no, after a stonking drive straight down the middle of the 17th, all I had to do was pitch 48m to the flag. Instead I went 30m right.

6th hole 20m chip with 56° from depressed grass lie in rough. Bit hosel scuttled along ground off at angle
17th hole 50m pitch with 50° off gum nuts and dirt. Bit of hosel again scuttling off along ground at angle.

It was me , definitely a wtf moment! 11th hole 120ish out uphill , played a lazy 8 iron that went 80mtrs 45 degrees to the right ..... divot was perfect, straight for the green, pitty it was more than likely from the hosel
