Checking in for a 40m flop on 7 at Blackwood. Small bit of hosel for easy wipe after hitting bag with recovery second.

To be fair to Hatchy it wasn't his fault it was either the shank I had on the 3rd that caused it or the fact that he'd just smacked one into his bag from a terrible lie in the rough....

I've got a special shanking experience to report today.

A real 60 degree doosie with 7 iron off the 12th tee. Then after I got the next one toward the green, I followed up with a sand wedge sideways chip.

The worst thing was that I was having a really good day up to that point. The slightly good thing is that I didn't hit any others for the rest of the round and didn't completely destroy my score.

10th at Wirrina. The first drive off the planet OOB almost hitting the resort units ��. Backed it up with snap hook onto the 11th. Flushed 3iron in but it drew with the wind and bounced down the step bank finishing 1/2 under a tree but easily playable for the flop.
Big piece of hosel going no where near the green to set up an easy wipe.

Had one today. 2 man ambrose. 140m par 3 with the green a fair bit lower then the tee level. Partner went way left so switched from having a proper go to just trying to get it somewhere near. Ended up going at it that easy that I didnt keep the head down or turn the wrists. Haven't had 1 for a while so was probably due

Funniest thing happened on the 18th (our 9th). Solarman was playing his 3rd shot from the 10th Ladies tee box (). He shanked it hard right and hit one of his own solar panels on the clubhouse roof.
