I narrowly missed the hosel with the tee shot on 9.

Put it over the fence again on the 14 (same hole different tee block) but no hosel this time.

Today was so fn slow I could have posted on every hole if I hit enough shanks.

Had one today. 2nd hole 115m with wedge in my hands and the ball below my feet, nice rocket into the hazard. Took a drop and got it up and down for 5 to soften the blow

Checking in for yesterday. In fluffy rough just short of a bunker. Straight right into the bunker. Easy triple!

New member booking in but managed to make a big first impression. Clocked up 7 in the first 4 holes today, shook playing partners hands and walked off. Now I'm sitting in the pub, with wife and kid about to enjoy a Father's Day lunch and forget what transpired this morning.

Had another 3 today... This could be my new favourite hang out. Though if I keep this shit up I might find myself in the "anchored" thread. Highlight shank of the day was the one I managed to shank around a water hazard perfectly.

I don't know if non Ozgolf playing partners count but my partner shanked a 5 iron today hitting me flush about 2 inches above the achilles tendon of my right leg... lesson learned the hard way.. do not stand in front of the person about to hit, even it if is only a foot in front (and 10 feet to one side)!

    Hobbling around much atm..

Chalked another 2 up from yesterday in which fellow ozgolfers were witness too at Hamo. First one was 7iron power shank into right the right kak after a smoking drive down the middle, easy double. Second one after another good drive on 18 dumped wedge into pot. Followed that with a shanked bunker shot. Just adding to my shanking repertoire

mmmmmm nothing quite like shanking a chip. I saw a good player do it once and thought how could that possibly happen? Then i remember shanking every iron shot on the back nine, including some of the chips, when a big chance to take out the clubbies a few years back.

Happy to report none for me today.
It was quite unnerving witnessing 2 by one playing partner on the first hole. The final count being 6 by one and 2 by another in the group.
Got quite nervous on the 10th when one shanked from 40m out whizzing past me then another one from the lefty from 20m out. I was pin high 5m off not wanting to be number 3.
    #shankfest.

Had two yesterday with a 50deg wedge. Just having 9 holes practice. 2nd hole at home club and had about 105m to the pin.and shanked the first one out to the 16th fairway. Chucked another ball down and hit it to 4ft. Then chucked another one down and shanked that into the trees between 2nd and 16th. Lesson learned is don't put another ball down once you've stiffed one!

Played with Mr 2hosel on the 1st as mentioned 2 posts above again yesterday.
He lasted 6 1/2holes before shanking a pitch from 60m out. Another power shank 5iron on 13 to keep the count to only 2 for the day.

Check in for myself in 1st round of club champs Sat.
20m pitch shot to pin cut close right and back. Ball caught the faintest piece of the hosel shooting off on angle missing the green.

Played in the Ladies Bargara Classic on Mon-Wed.

Had a one over my handicap in the first round.
Second round pared the first, 100m out on 2 and shanked it straight right into a bunker. Quality! The round went down hill from there.
