The holes must be bigger in Qld.

Played camden lakeside with GolfWhang on Friday. Parred the first 2 holes then had a 8 iron into a left pin on the par 3 3rd, and straight off the the right it goes.....at least now when it happens I have a pretty good idea of why and can fix it, didn't have one for the rest of the round.

Not sure if this belongs in this thread but over the last 4months after changing my chipping, I've been having some "shank" like shots that come off the toe of the club. I don't consider these shanks as they don't come off the hosel, but they definitely feel like sheit!!!

Certain people around these parts call anything that's not dead straight a shank Mr. Bluu.....

The only shot that can be classed as a shank is one that comes out of the hosel.

Anything else is just a sh!t shot not a shank, end of story.

Not an Ozgolfer, but one of the guys I played with yesterday (no homo) had a vey bad case.
By hole 9 his total count was 19 and although he didnt find it amuzing, I couldnt help but laugh as it got even worse on the back 9....

Shanks are funny. While chrisogigolo keeps his impact looking like this, he will provide years of humour.

Nice pic, shows how a socket turns the clubface. Was that taken in Canberra?
