Walked onto the range yesterday before my round with some mp53's that i just put together with some tt black golds, and was pumped to use them.
6 iron first swing straight onto the 10th fairway from the practice range, it was quite impressive. TT black golds now for sale )

firstly - I bought a set of irons from lagerlover !!

being off a 24/25 handicap - shanks can be a part of my game - Best hosel rocket was off the 2nd at home club recently - R11 off the tee , massive over rotation, exploded off the hosel 1 mtr off the ground hit the wire fence to our left , it ran along the top wire hit an upright to come straight back at us just over our head & land in the garden behind to be deemed unplayable , teed up again , ripped one down the middle , 9 iron to 5 feet , 2 putts for a wipe ! (par)

7th tee Pacific. 185 down hill down breeze. 6iron zing squirt sails over 6th green to come to rest near the large gum on the left of the 8th fairway leaving 143 to go. I reckon it went 143 to get there. Let's just say the brother and foursomes partner wasn't impressed. There was another but it couldn't beat this.

had one on 17th from the middle of the fairway yesterday with a 9iron, first one in ages and hopefully the last for a while. Then had to take an unplayable....fortunate to hit the next one to about 2feet and saved bogey.....

Got off to a flying start yesterday at KGC.

Par, Par, Par, Par - with two birdie lip outs.

Then on a 300m par 4, had about 40metres left, smack bang in themiddle of the fairway.

Had sand wedge in hand, trying to play a low spinny shot - a shot which I am very comfortable with

SHANK! - off into the tree's. walked away with a 6. Didn't recover from there.

There's something perversely hilarious about hitting a hosel rocket in foursomes.

    Had a great shank today.

13th hole at Keysborough, 200m carry across water and a bunker. pearler of a drive, with the wind carried 250m. Had 60m in. Sand wedge in hand - shanked it into a tree trunk 45* right. obstructed swing - short into greenside bunker. 2 putter - 5 for a loss.

    Hit one yesterday

Mixed foursomes, Par 4, road down the left, my mother puts the first out of bounds which sends me to the tee! I get up and put a 3 iron straight right into a tree which bounced off and went another fairway over, still inbounds mind you just further away from the hole!

We ended up with a double par!! No issues, was a good day and we were never in the hunt, just had a fun round with my mum!

Shanks and a woman are the only two things that will possibly prevent dc from taking out the double at Pelican this year.
