Inside or outside your stance? Takes real talent to get one off the inside and roll it between your legs.
Haven't done it myself but have witnessed it.

Best one I've seen thou was on the old 10th tee at Berri while I was on the practice putting green. Outside the stance, got a good piece of it. Ran across the practice putting green and hit the concrete surround, jumped the 2 foot wall and over the flower bed. Hit the massive window on the corner of the club house and cracked it. I watched the glaziers take the old one out and drop the new replacement just as the nearly had it in. The returned a second time with clear one, no more tinted glass left.

    Hi everyone.
My name is Hatchman and I'm a shanker.
I smashed the hosel twice today.
The first was a bump and run 8 iron from 3m off the green on the 3rd. It hit the hosel went sideways with no air and didn't make it onto the green.
The second was full blooded 5 iron from the middle of the fairway on the 11th OB into the dam. That one veered off hard right with good air and a little fade at the end. The dimple pattern off the ball was evident on the hosel and was hastily rubbed off before flushing the next one.

    Not much to tell really.

Hit it in the trees on left of 9 (my 18th) @ PW. Chipped out well but found the only fairway on the course with run and it ran and ran and ran and ran and ran and ran (you get the idea yet?) and ran into the trees on the other side. Had a branch in my face, had to hood the club at a 30° angle, and hit a hook. The ultimate recipe for a shank. Hit a tree dead square and run under the bridge to be completely unplayable though.

But having gone from being 1 under through 7 to 5 over through 10 and being "Pelicaned" 3 times in those holes I was over it and not overly fussed.

"He" as in me? News to me. The group two back from us got a great pic of a red bellied black snake on the 8th fairway though.

There alway seems to be a sign there when I have played it, and have seen it a few times. It was/is a whopper brown.

The sign is there for about 5 months a year. When the sign is up, I don't go looking for balls over there. I don't care who it belongs to.

One of the Sherman's I hit yesterday from just off of the green ran along the ground towards one of my playing partners and he pretended to play a cricket forward defense shot with his putter. Would have laughed if it had happened to someone else
