After recently going back to a 52* and 58* Vokey SM combo ( Red Saw Oil Can ) I reshafted with Nippon 1050's. This is a shaft I had good success with in the past with irons and also one of the older model Spin Milled wedges. Having moved to a set of CG16's with their lighter steel shafts I thought keeping the stock DG shafts in the wedges might have been too big a weight jump.
Sadly for whatever reason I hate the feel of the Nippons in these wedges. They now have a clicky feel and a higher ball flight than what I would like especially in the 52* and wish I had kept the original shafts in. These are now gone so don't have the option of easily going back.
Do I just look for a couple of wedge flex DG's or are there other options that could be suggested.
