It seems clear to me that your "whale shark" answer to Jack's very fair question was both dismissive and ill thought. Lake Michigan is a fresh water body, the shark was likely to be a bull shark. If we are to take your whale shark hypothesis seriously, can you explain why Arnold ("Pat" Morita) would not have been chowing down on the big fella. It is their go.

A good point, it reminds me powerfully of high school at times. That could be the detention system as well though...
