have just bought a couple of pairs. the sunnies are just tinted glasses but real cheap. $60 aud for 2 pairs.
The frames are no name brands.
If you are looking for "cheap" prescription name brand sunnies,http://www.eyewearbrands.com/ (a guy from work got a pair from them) but I don't think they would work out much cheaper.

Picked up the Sundog glasses with my Golf vouchers. Seem to be easy on the eyes and comfortable to wear.
The model I got were Dialed Mela Lens smoke-black.

So, still searching for a set of prescription glasses... went to the optometrist and the glasses I'm using are way out apparantly, but Im used to it. He's in the process of sorting out another set of glasses but seeing as I can get about 6 pairs from zennioptical for the same price I might get a few pairs if they are decent. Anyone grab any of these?? How do they go??

Is polarized good/bad/neutral for golf? (I know it's good for driving)

I recall reading somewhere that polarised lenses affect depth perception and are not recommended for golf.

Any updates on the best sunglasses around. I don’t need prescription.
I have a set of Oakley ones that had the brown prizim lens (think polarised) they got to the point of needing lens replaced. Oakley store wanted to much so I went down the aftermarket eBay path. A set of lens turned up yesterday with yellow tint polarised. When you look thru them they look very blue and are making me feel dizzy so not sure what’s happening here.
Do I just bit the bullet and buy what I had? Or better / value options out there now?

You dont want polarised for golf. It diminishes contrast and flattens contours.
Check out SportRX website, i would trust what they list here for golf specific glasses, because I have been there, met the founder and bought his own design golf lenses. They not cheap though but IMO best investment i have ever made for golf, fortunately my preacription hasbt changed in years so 7-8 years and still going strong, though i have replaced frames twice ( cheap)

I've been wearing a pair of BZ Optics glasses for cycling, and have been wearing them for golf lately. Not expensive, company is at Burleigh Heads, and they have quite a few options for lens. I'm just wearing the Gray transitions lenses, as that's all I have. But they have a cinnamon or something transition lense option too. Also have bifocals.

Thanks Goughy, didnt know about them I will check them out. A Cinnamon/Amber/Brown lens is best for golf, great contrast, and easier to see in low light as it brightens up. Anthing green 2nd best, and maybe good if using yelllow ball because of contrast. Grey sucks for golf.

Yeah, I'd always heard that. But every game I've played with these glasses have been the only ones I've finished without a slight headache. My prior pairs have been bolle golfing lense models and the last ones were oakleys with a redish lense for cycling.
These are the lenses I was thinking of trying for golf...

My current ones are the grey photochromic that go from Cat 0 to 3. I haven't played in the brightest of summer days though.

Just had an eye test, was told good 20/20 vision and given the least prescription you can get. This opens a few doors now.
Have also just ordered a replacement set of Oakley lens. Website had them 50% off. For $48 I can’t complain. Should have checked that before wasting money on these dodgy ones
